The Dresser's Responsibilities and Skillset

At Ashoka Nursing & Paramedical College, we offer specialized training to prepare students for critical healthcare roles, including that of a Dresser. Dressers play a key role in hospitals and clinics by ensuring medical instruments and supplies are properly prepared, sterilized, and organized for safe patient care. They also manage medical inventory and ensure proper disposal of used materials to maintain a sterile environment.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of medical terminology, sterilization practices, and infection control. Dressers assist in preparing patients for procedures, supporting medical teams in delivering efficient and safe care. Our training equips students with the essential skills to excel in healthcare settings.
